The Platinum Tools Fiber Optic Visual Fault Locator (TVFL100) is equipped with a bright 10mW laser that allows for both continuity testing and detecting breaks and bends in most types of fiber optic cable. Made from durable aluminum, this device features a simple slide switch for selecting between a flashing or solid beam. The hinged flip cap protects the lens when not in use, and with compatibility for both 1.25mm and 2.5mm ferrules, it can work with a variety of fiber optic sizes and connector types. Running on just 2 AA batteries (included), this fault locator can last for more than 20 hours.
