ORDERING

Online ordering is now easier than ever. To place an online order, all you need is an Altex online account. Shop for all of your technology needs and simply add items to your shopping cart by clicking the "Add To Basket" button located in the product listing. Whenever you are ready to finalize your order, just click the "Checkout Now" button in your basket. Select your shipping requirements, enter your billing and shipping information, and then confirm payment information and order completion and you are on your way.

Altex accepts most major Credit Cards, and Net 30 Terms based on credit approval.

At Altex your information is collected on a highly-secured site so that you may make purchases without worrying about the safety or security of your information.
 
Credit Card Orders:
Please note that your “Bill-To” and “Ship-To” addresses must match or be pre-approved on record with your credit card company or your order will be delayed until the information can be verified.
 
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Orders:
Please note that until the transfer of funds is complete, your order will not be processed. This may take up to four business days. In the event that there is a problem in retrieving funds from your account, this will delay the processing of the order while we attempt to resolve the issue with you.
 
Cashier’s Check / Money Order:
We are more than happy to accept these forms of payment; however the order will not be processed until the funds are transferred which may take up to 10 business days.
 

ALTERNATE SHIPPING CARRIERS

At Altex we strive to provide you with the fastest and most cost effective method of shipping, it is for this reason that we reserve the right to ship your order via a different shipping carrier. We do this only to expedite your delivery time or reduce your shipping costs.

MULTIPLE SHIPPING LOCATIONS

Your order may arrive in multiple packages, this happens if we are out of inventory at our main warehouse but have stock in one of our eight retail locations. This is done to expedite your order and avoid any possible delays in shipping your items to you.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERING

We welcome international orders. All international orders are processed using Wire Transfer as the method of payment (Credit Cards are accepted on a case by case basis only). All prices are in US dollars, and all fees and duties associated with orders will not be included in the shipping but will be due to the local customs agency in order to receive the product. Upon placing an order Altex Electronics LTD will respond with the Routing Number for the Wire Transfer.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International sales and shipping are subject to approval of Altex management pursuant to domestic and international laws. Please contact our sales department for special international shipping arrangements. In some cases, we will require that you give us your UPS or Fedex account number prior to shipment. Orders shipped to countries outside the US may be subject to customs duties, import taxes and fees levied by the destination country once a shipment reaches your country. Any customs clearance charges must be borne by the purchaser. We are unable to predict what they will be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. For further information, contact your local customs office. Note: when customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

APO/FPO Orders are not subject to these Restrictions.

These Ordering Policies (the "Ordering Policies") constitute a binding legal contract between you and Altex Electronics, Ltd., a Texas limited partnership ("Altex"), the owner and operator of the website located at www.altex.com (the "Site"). By ordering any merchandise via the Site, you signify your acceptance of these Ordering Policies, as may be amended or supplemented from time to time. PRODUCT DISPLAY

Altex puts forth every effort to ensure that all product information is up-to-date and factual in the interest of our customers. Unfortunately manufacturers may make changes to an item that includes but is not limited to new versions or revisions, color deviations, retail package alterations and other variations that could cause the information on our Web site to become outdated without our immediate knowledge. Altex relies on the manufacturer to communicate these differences and is not responsible for changes or variations in product specifications and/or physical appearance.

PRODUCT PRICING

Due to the ever-evolving world of electronics prices, products, and descriptions are subject to change without notice.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Orders received before 3:00 p.m. Mon - Fri are usually shipped the same day. Delivery of merchandise may take up to two weeks, depending on freight method selected and product availability. Your credit card will not be charged until the order ships.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING TAX

All orders that are shipping to an address outside the state of Texas will not be charged Tax. If the order is shipping to an address inside the state of Texas, tax will be charged unless you have a valid Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate on file at Altex. Please contact us if you would like to set up a Tax Exempt account. 

RETURNS AND RESTOCKING

An Original Receipt is required for all Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty Services.

Returns and Exchanges are valid for 14 days from the Original Date of Purchase on qualified items.

A 15% Restocking Fee is charged on returned products.

Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items:

  • CPU’s and Memory not installed by a qualified Altex Technician
  • Custom Cable Assemblies
  • Items that are Missing Original Contents, or Retail Packaging
  • Items that have been Altered, Defaced, Modified
  • Labor
  • Media
  • Pre-Cut Wire and Cable
  • Printers - Open or Used
  • Software
  • Test Equipment

Agents or Employees of Altex are not authorized to modify or deviate from stated warranties/policies.

CREDIT CARD/NET 30 AND REFUND GUIDELINES

Credit Cards:
All refunds on purchases made with credit cards will only be credited back to the same account as the original purchase was made on. In the event that the account has been closed we will need verification from the credit card provider to proceed.

Net 30 Terms:
Purchases made on accounts with Net 30 Terms will be credited to the original account only and applied to that invoice.

All products are solely registered and unregistered trademarks of their respective manufacturers.

You agree not to copy, display or otherwise use any of the Marks without the prior written permission of Altex. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Marks may not be used in any manner likely to cause confusion, disparage or dilute these marks and/or in connection with any product or service that is not authorized, sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with Altex.

ALTEX ELECTRONICS LTD. IS A DISTRIBUTOR ONLY. PRODUCTS SOLD BY ALTEX ELECTRONICS LTD. ARE NOT MANUFACTURED BY ALTEX ELECTRONICS LTD. THE PRODUCTS MAY, HOWEVER, BE COVERED BY EACH MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY, SERVICE, AND SUPPORT POLICY (IF PRESENT). ALTEX ELECTRONICS LTD. Altex may change these Ordering Policies at any time. Any change shall be effective immediately upon its posting on the Site. You agree that you will be bound by these Ordering Policies, however and whenever changed, whether you have actual or constructive notice of, and whether you have ordered, used or received products after, the changes.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Ordering Policies is deemed unlawful, void, voidable or unenforceable for any reason, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Ordering Policies and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.

GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE

This Web site (excluding linked sites) is controlled by Altex from its offices within the State of Texas, United States of America. The Site can be accessed from all 50 states, as well as from other countries around the world.

As each of these jurisdictions has laws and regulations that may differ from those of Texas, by accessing this Web site both you and Altex agree that these Ordering Policies, the entire relationship between you and Altex, all matters relating to use of this Site, and any litigation or other legal proceeding between you and Altex (whether grounded in tort, contract, law or equity) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to its choice of law rules.

In the case of a dispute, any lawsuit or other legal proceeding between the parties shall be brought only in the civil district courts of Bexar County, Texas or the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division.

You hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent to the jurisdiction of any such courts and hereby irrevocably and unconditionally waive any defense of an inconvenient forum to the maintenance of any action or proceeding in any such court, any objection to venue with respect to any such action or proceeding, and any right of jurisdiction on account of the place of residence or domicile of any party thereto.
