The Jonard Tools MS-306 Mid Span Slit & Ring Tool (1.2 mm-3.3 mm) includes 6 precise slitting grooves and 6 precise ring grooves, ranging in size from 1.2 mm to 3.3 mm. One side of the tool performs radial/ring cuts, while the other side slits the cable (longitudinal cut). Its compact design, weighing less than 2.5 oz, and tethering hole make it ideal for use in tight spaces or on the go. An indicator line on top of the unit accurately displays the blade's position for precise slitting and ringing. Replacement blade sets are available (part number: MS-306RB), and each blade can last for up to 5,000 slits/cuts. The patented MS-306 Mid Span Slit and Ring Tool is designed to easily access optical fibers in outer jackets and buffer tubes.
