This Altex Preferred MFG 240-Piece 24-Values electrolytic capacitor kit includes 10-pieces for each value, from 0.1uF to 1000uF. With in-line aluminum capacitors, these capacitors boast large capacity and small size, plus ripple current resistance and low internal resistance and low ripple. Dielectric material is aluminum electrolytic and the lead description is long lead = positive "+"; short lead = negative "-". Great for DIY projects, this kit also comes with humanized packaging for easy storage and use.
Specifications The role of electrolytic capacitors in switching power supplies are:


Blocking DC: The function is to prevent the passage of DC and allow the passage of AC.
Bypass (decoupling): Provide a low impedance path for some parallel components in the AC circuit.
Coupling: As a connection between two circuits, it allows AC signals to pass through and be transmitted to the next-level circuit.
Filtering: Change the rectified sawtooth wave into a smooth pulsating wave, close to DC.
Energy storage: store electrical energy and release it when necessary.
