Converts 12V DC Power to 120V AC Power
The portable PV400USB features two NEMA 5-15R AC outlets, a 2.1A USB port and a 1.0A USB port, enabling you to charge or operate up to four devices simultaneously. In converting the 12V DC power from your vehicle’s battery to standard 120V AC power, the PowerVerter produces a continuous output of 400 watts and a peak output of 800 watts.
Easy to Use
Just plug the DC input jack with convenient 3-foot cord into the 12V cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle, or use the battery cables to connect to your battery - always connect red to red and black to black. Press the on/off button, and the PV400USB is ready to operate. Easy-to-see LEDs let you know the PowerVerter is receiving power from the battery or overloaded. To prevent you from running down your car battery, the PV400USB turns off automatically if the input voltage falls to 10V, as well as if the unit gets too hot.
