With a rugged, all-metal case, high-quality outlets and plugs, and a switchless design to prevent accidental shutoff, the PDU2430 is optimized for reliable service in demanding IT, industrial and commercial applications. The PDU2430 is furnished with its two 15-amp circuit breakers (one for each set of 12 outlets) to protect the PDU as well as the connected equipment against overloads and short circuits.

It can also be configured for 0U (vertical) installation in the cable management area of many rack enclosures.
